If you are to build several Training Courses, each of those will have to be a separate Unity project, and you will have to create a separate executable (Windows or Android) for each of those.
The following describes the structure of an individual Training Course. PaleBlue Trainer suggests the following structure for your course:
- Lobby
- Tutorial
- Locker Room
- Scenario(s)
Lobby
Lobby is the starting scene where the player first appears. It allows the scene selection, choosing from Tutorial, Locker room, and the Training Scenarios of this Course.
Lobby works automatically, so you don’t have to think about it!
Tutorial
Educates the user of the VR interactions available in the course. Most of the times this will be same experience throughout all of your courses. We have provided a Tutorial for you!
Locker Room
Locker Room is where the trainee is going to choose the proper clothing and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the Course. We find that Safety and PPE are central to many of our clients, and have therefore included Locker Room in every course.
We have provided a sample Locker Room scene for you. You can either use it as-is, or customize to better match the training you’re developing.
Scenario(s)
This is where the actual training content goes.
Each Course may have one or more Scenarios. Think of those as chapters within a book.
Effectively, PaleBlue Trainer provides you with everything but the Scenario content - and that’s the only part you need to create.
