Getting Started: Unity Package

Supported Unity version: 2021.3.1f1.
  1. Download and install Unity Editor from the Unity Download Archive
  2. In the Unity Hub add Android Module to the installed editor
  3. Create a new project selecting 2021.3.1f1 on top, and use Universal 3D (sometimes also called 3D URP) as template

  1. Wait for the project to fully initialize and open
  2. Locate the PaleBlue Trainer .unitypackage file in Explorer, and double-click on it
  3. In the Unity Package popup window, click Import

  5. The package will start installing

  7. When Scoped Registry dialog pops up, click Close
  8. image
  9. When Input System-related Warning dialog will appear, click Yes to restart Unity

  11. When XR InteractionLayer Mask dialog window appears, click I Made a Backup, Go Ahead!

  13. Unity will restart at some point
  14. Wait for the package to complete the installation
  15. If you haven’t used PaleBlue Trainer at this PC yet, you need to activate the license
  16. Open PaleBlue → License Manager using the Unity application menu

  18. Copy the Device ID and send to PaleBlue for activation

  20. Once the activation has been done at the PaleBlue server, restart Unity and you are good to go! Time to create some knock-out VR training.
If you see Project Settings window popping up during the installation, close it
